September 10, 2013 –Tweetie De Leon-Gonzales is easily one of the most accomplished women in the country. Getting her big break as a model at 14, she has graced the covers of countless magazines and served as a runway muse for renowned designers. This dusky beauty blazed trails further with a flourishing career after modeling – becoming a magazine editor, a squash enthusiast and advocate, and a jewelry designer whose creations have landed in Paul Smith stores worldwide. Now, this supermodel/actress-turned-businesswoman/supermom continues to live the charmed life with her husband and four children.

"I was ready for motherhood, I was ready for marriage, and I wanted that change in my life," she says.  "It wasn't a painful transition."

Despite her busy schedule, she always aims to put her family first.  Tweetie shares:  "Spending as much time with them as much as possible is important to me.  A big part of my life is them... I will give the best, not in terms of expenses, but the best of my time and the best of my abilities as a mom."

As she wants only the best for her family, she is very discerning when it comes to their health.  She and her husband, Engr. Mon Gonzales, encourage their children to include fruits and vegetables in their everyday meals.

“My husband and I try to maintain a balance as far as their nutrition is concerned.  Teaching kids how to eat vegetables could be a challenge but the only way to address that is to make these things available.”

Tweetie makes sure her fridge is well stocked with healthy choices, and she makes certain that everything is kept fresh with the help of her Sub-Zero refrigerator.

Sub-Zero’s range of refrigerators maintains freshness for longer periods of time with its dual refrigeration system. It ensures the most optimal temperature set points by treating the refrigerator and freezer as two separate and sealed compartments. Air between the two is never shared; ensuring that your frozen foods last longer and your greens stay fresher.

“Now that they are growing up, they constantly see vegetables and fruits on the table and see their parents eating it and enjoying it.  They get curious, try it out and get the taste for it.  That's how we introduce healthy nutrition to them,” Tweetie revealed.

After a long day, this active mom enjoys dinner and bonding time with her family.  For her, the kitchen is the heart of their household – a place to come together and share stories over meals.

“The kitchen is the most active part of this house.  This is where we spend most of our time so it's quite important that it's spacious and neat. I really don’t like clutter, especially in the house. I like everything clean and discreet in every way.”

As a mom who wears many hats, Tweetie agrees that Sub-Zero has not only done wonders for their kitchen, it also gets her vote with regard to style. "People can pass by and not notice that it's a fridge.  It's like part of the wall or a (piece of) furniture. That’s what I love about the design of my Sub-Zero. "

It is no wonder that Tweetie found herself loyal to the brand.  Beauty, excellence and passion are at the core of Tweetie's life and she found the same dedication in her Sub-Zero that not only blends in to perfection, it performs to perfection as well.

“Sub-Zero really caters to the home and to the look of the house. It’s even easy to use. I’m just in love with the appliance,” Tweetie gushed.
